I’ve been hovering between melancholy and anxious all day. It’s not so awesome.

I’m looking for something that’s sweet. Feel good type stuff. But believable, because I can’t handle badly written Mycrofts. It’s okay if there’s smut in it, but I want it to mainly make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

First of all, what Snape felt for Lily wasn’t really love either— not in a healthy, traditional sense. It was a deep-rooted and destructive obsession. But I have no problem with people who ship them, because the whole point of fandom is to use your imagination and JKR’s characters to create something new.
Secondly, in most Snarry fic Snape and Harry DO hate each other at first, or hate each other during (because adults know that sometimes adults do things that are irrational) and that’s okay. In most well-written Snarry, Snape is still selfish sometimes and still rude or mean. But you should also keep in mind that people can change, fans can write stories, and in the world of imagination anything can happen.
I wish people would stop hating on ships like this. It’s okay to dislike a ship, or if it makes you cringe, but don’t insult the people who ship it just because you don’t. Don’t say they aren’t a fan of a character just because they’ve shipped that character with someone that’s not to your tastes. It’s both childish and uncalled for. And this speech isn’t just because I happen to ship Snarry— this goes for any and all ships in any and all fandoms.
Some people ship non-canon. Some non-canon ships are ridiculous, or between characters that don’t even speak, or are just plain odd. Deal with it.
